Anthony (SBA) dollar was intended to honor this pioneer in women's rights and is the first time that a woman other than a model or mythical figure has appeared on a circulating United States coin. The Susan B. Anthony (SBA) dollar was designed by Frank Gasparro, weights 8.1 grams and contains .750 copper and .250 nickel. The Eisenhower dollar was designed by Frank Gasparro, weights 22.68 grams and contains .750 copper and .250 nickel. The design selected was by Frank Gasparro and Dennis R. Williams.
